Mesquite residents will have to travel farther away to get their target fix in the coming months. Early in 2009 Target will be torn down so that it can be replace with a super target in October 2009. In addition to the demolition fun Mervyn's and Wickes Furniture will also be torn down. The shopping center surrounding Target will be renovated and expanded for coming business.Okay I want to know why they can't finish the road construction before starting new construction and why do we need more stores, just renovate Mervyn's into a indoor shopping center, save money and it would be a "Green" option for the nation that is "Going Green" . Obviously Mesquite didn't get the "Going Green" memo !!
I am excited to here that we are finally getting a super target and I can do grocery shopping somewhere besides the dreaded wal-mart !!
